Spaces: Laundry Bar
[Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia] I love it when I’m in Kuala Lumpur; shopping, gigs, the food and not forgetting the nightlife. But when I was recommended to go to Laundry Bar, the first thought was, “The place where you wash your drinks?” Apparently that wasn’t the case.

Northeast of city central Kuala Lumpur in the state of Petaling Jaya, three options to get to Laundry Bar, by car, by cab (quick but expensive) and by bus. There is a free shuttle service at the Royale Bintang in the Bukit Bintang area near city central.

What makes this place special? 4 in 1 hangout: Lounge, Bar, Club and Restaurant. While chilling out at the bar, you can order food if you’re hungry from Italiannies which is a part of Laundry Bar. Apart from the wicked DJs that rule the club section, what tops the sundae is the live in-house gigs with local artistes taking the stage, giving a feel of Malaysian music flavors. But don’t be mistaken, local talents aren’t the only talents they invite.

Current residents include DJ Fresh, DJ Daryl B, DJ Warren V and DJ Soya.
Notable regional and international acts include, Chicosci (Philippines), Furcurve (Australia), Everybody Loves Irene (Indonesia), Cousin Corps (Germany), Lee (USA) and Human Beatboxer Shamik (Canada).
